Travel Vaccinations

Maternity Care

An antenatal clinic is held every Wednesday afternoon. Please make an appointment for this clinic when your pregnancy is confirmed.

Well Woman Clinic

We run a well woman clinic and hormone replacement clinic where cervical cytology examinations are offered. Please ask at reception for details.

Family Planning

A comprehensive service is available within normal surgery times but the fitting of caps and coils is done by special arrangement.

Vaccinations and immunisations

It is important that your children are fully immunised against all the childhood diseases. Children's vaccinations are by appointment every Friday morning. Routine vaccinations and travel immunisations are performed by the practice nurse. Please ask the receptionist to make you an appointment. Flu vaccinations are available each autumn.

Health Visiting Service

The Health Visitor service at Ash Tree house continues to offer clients the core programme of Health Visiting, which involves routine screening, development checks and the immunisation programme. In addition to this our Health Visitors also provide advice on behaviour issues and problems along with social, marital and housing issues.

Physiotherapy

Our in-house physiotherapist, Lynn Johnson, provides a full range of services following referral from a doctor.

Chronic Disease Management Clinic

The practice runs a range of clinics including Diabetes, Asthma, Coronary Heart Disease, Hypertension, Stroke, Heart Failure, COPD, CKD, Thyroid, Mental Health, Epilepsy. Please call for details.

Minor Surgery

Minor surgical procedures are performed by: Dr Rees, Dr Johnson, and Dr Brown.

Counsellor

An appointment with our on-site Counsellor, Roger Rowlands can be arranged via a referral from a doctor.
